Todd Huckaby is a founding partner at Hudson Bankers with broad experience in advising multinationals and Latin American companies in capital market transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Huckaby’s experience includes over 300 transactions in the area with multinational clients in the U.S. and Latin America.
In New York, he worked as an attorney with the law firm of Brown & Wood, specializing in securities transactions and as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs’ Corporate Finance Latin America Group. Later, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of a Chilean telecommunications company.
In 1998 Todd Huckaby co-founded IB Partners, a regional investment bank, where in the course of twelve years he participated in more than 200 transactions in Latin America.
Recently he has lead transactions in Chile, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador with clients such as Casino, Falabella, Fragua, Hacienda Rupanco, Grup Claro – Cristalerias de Chile, Parque Arauco, Grupo Yarur – Salco Brand, GE Equity, Grupo Ultramar, Rosen, Embotelladora Polar (Coca Cola), Farmacias Cruz Verde, Embotelladora Andina (Coca Cola), MetLife, AT&T Latin America, France Telecom y Grupo Urenda – Navieras, Americana de Colchones, Energy Fitness and Prisa.
Mr. Huckaby is a US citizen and has lived in Chile for over twenty years. He is admitted to the New York Bar and holds a J.D. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Samford University. He also completed post graduate studies in economics in Japan with a scholarship from the Rotary Foundation. He is currently a board member at Fitness Holdings, the holding company of Energy Fitness Club and Hard Candy Chile.

Jonathan Huckaby is a founding partner at Hudson Bankers. He has extensive corporate finance experience advising financial sponsors, multinationals corporations and Latin American groups in mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and project finance transactions. His previous professional experience includes corporate development at Groupe Casino (Paris), investment banking at JPMorgan in the Latin America M&A and in Financial Sponsors Groups (New York), and in the Structured Finance and Investment Banking Group at ABN AMRO Bank (Chile).
Mr. Huckaby has worked on transactions in multiple industries including retail, power and utilities, consumer products, mining, general industrials, gaming, TMT and construction materials. He has advised a wide range of clients including AES, Apollo, CVC International, Ecopetrol, Electricité de France, Almacenes Exito, First Reserve, Gas Natural, Groupe Casino, Light, Ontario Teachers/InterGen, and Protabaco.
Mr. Huckaby holds an International MBA from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Samford University. A dual citizen from Chile and the United States, he has lived extensively in Chile, the United States and France.
